What is Rush?
Rush is a process in which those interested in joining get to meet the brothers in a fun and casual setting. It gives prospective members the opportunity to learn more about the fraternity before deciding beginning the pledging process.
Is Rush free?
Rush is 100% free and non-binding, meaning you are NOT obligated to join the Fraternity if you attend any rush events. Come out to win prizes, meet new people, eat great food, and have some fun! Attire is casual, so dress comfortably.
What is Pledging?
The pledging process begins after the rushee signs and commits to Kappa Psi. It is a time where pledges learn about the Rituals, History, and Ideals of Kappa Psi and strengthen their commitment and appreciation of the Fraternity. Strong bonds between the pledge class and Brothers develop during pledging.
Will there be any hazing?
Kappa Psi Pharmaceutical Fraternity Inc. has outlawed any act which might be classified as hazing. These acts have no place in an organization of professionals and mature individuals. Pledges do not relinquish their moral or religious ideals, social or legal rights, political beliefs or their familial or personal relationships.
